Verified Carbon Credits, Not Just Tokenized Ones
Carbon Credit Tokenization, Backed by Verified Integrity
Tokere tokenizes carbon credits and offsets that have passed integrity screening, so institutions can hold, transfer, and retire real tonnes on an immutable record. Every token is backed by a verified credit. A token on a bad credit is still a bad credit, which is why we verify first.

Why We Verify Before We Tokenize
Since 2023, the voluntary carbon market has been repriced by scrutiny. A registry listing does not guarantee real, additional, permanent tonnes. The ICVCM Core Carbon Principles now set the bar: as of 2026, 38 methodologies are CCP-approved, programs covering roughly 98 percent of market volume are CCP-eligible, and CCP-labelled credits trade at a premium.
Tokenizing a weak credit does not fix it. Tokere tokenizes only credits that clear integrity screening, so the digital carbon token carries value the market recognizes.
Carbon Offsets We Tokenize
Tokere tokenizes the full range of carbon credits and removals, each validated against its registry, methodology, and CCP status before it becomes a digital carbon token. We tokenize integrity, not hype.
Tokere’s carbon offset tokens augment integrity, quality and price premiums of Certified Emission Reductions (CER), Voluntary Emission Reductions (VER) and Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR) credits.
1 Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDR)
A) Nature Based Solutions

-
Biochar With a potential to capture up to 35% of Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) targets and high carbon sequestration capabilities of 0.5- 2.6 GT CO2 per year, Biochar is a durable removal with strong measurability, which is why buyers now prioritize it for high-integrity portfolios. Tokere tokenizes biochar credits only after they clear methodology and durability checks.

-
Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD/REDD+) The REDD/REDD+ projects encompass efforts to avoid both planned and unplanned deforestation and degradation.

-
Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation (ARR) The ARR projects involve a range of activities, including Afforestation, Reforestation, and Revegetation initiatives.

-
Blue Carbon Blue carbon projects conserve and restore coastal and marine ecosystems like mangroves and seagrasses, which absorb and store large amounts of carbon dioxide, mitigating climate change while promoting biodiversity and coastal resilience.

-
Direct Ocean Capture (DOC) Enhanced Rock Weathering (ERW) & Ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) accelerate the natural process of sequestering carbon in the ocean by increasing the alkalinity of seawater to enhance its capacity to absorb and store atmospheric CO2
B) Technology Based Solutions

-
Direct air carbon capture and storage (DACCS) is DAC plus storage. CO2 is extracted from the air and stored either in geological formations deep underground or converted into renewable and eco-friendly polymers, green methanol, renewable chemicals or biofuels like sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using power to liquid (PtL) technologies alongside Fischer Tropsch, Hydrogenation and Isomerization processes.

-
Bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS) involves atmospheric CO2 absorbed by plants. The plant material (biomass) is burned to produce energy, and the CO2 released in that process is captured and stored underground.

2 GHG Emission Reduction & Avoidance (CER & VER)
-
Cookstoves Credits: Cookstove carbon credit projects aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by promoting the use of efficient cookstoves, which use less biomass and emit fewer pollutants.

-
Renewable energy Credits (REC): Biofuels, Wind, Solar, Geothermal energy generation or consumption that can displace or lower fossil-fuel consumption as well as GHG emissions

-
Methane Capture Credits: Captured methane emissions (a potent GHG) from landfills, oil & gas refineries, livestock and mining operations that prevent its release into the atmosphere. Methane capture credits are validated against their methodology and provenance, then tokenized as immutable, traceable units.

The TOKERE Solutions
Tokere's carbon tokenization stack covers guarantee of origin, digital identity, verified supply-chain data, and finance-grade credit records on an immutable ledger. Verification comes first. Tokenization then makes the verified result transferable, traceable, and retirable once
Beyond the regulatory requirement, our solution provides a transformative tool that can reshape the industry by addressing critical challenges and aligning with the global sustainability vision. Its importance lies in its ability to foster transparency, ensure compliance, and drive circular economy practices.
Tokenized Environmental Assets: Enhancing Trust & Sanctity
Tokenizing environmental assets involves creating digital representations of assets that have ecological value, such as carbon credits, biodiversity credits, renewable energy certificates, or conservation projects, on a blockchain.
Tokenized Embodied Green: Offsetting to Insetting
Tokere effectively addresses the intersection of tracking emissions reductions and monetizing them. By establishing and tokenizing the embodied carbon within a product, Tokere empowers organizations to mobilize these green features throughout the product lifecycle. This innovative approach enables enterprises to transform their Net Zero strategies by shifting their focus from merely procuring offsets to actively managing credits within the product lifecycle, thus mitigating the risk of greenwashing.
Digital Green Product Passport: Publishing Greenness %
A tokenized green product passport is our innovative concept that uses blockchain technology to create a digital identity for products, specifically focusing on their environmental and sustainability attributes. The tokenized Digital Green Product Passport is a dynamic digital record that stores and communicates essential information about a product throughout its entire lifecycle.
Tokenized Climate Finance
Transforming Investment in Climate Solutions, tokenized climate finance represents a cutting-edge approach to mobilizing capital for sustainability initiatives. By creating digital tokens that represent investments in environmental projects, we enable organizations to release new funding avenues for efforts aimed at combating climate change.
Carbon Offset Tokenization Process
Tokere's Tokenization Workflow
Our carbon credit tokenization process puts verification first and tokenization last, so every token on the ledger represents a credit that has already passed integrity checks. Here's how it works:

-
Integrity screening: we map each credit to its registry, methodology, vintage, and ICVCM CCP status, and flag anything that fails.
-
Validation: we check the underlying performance data against the methodology, GHG Protocol, and removal-durability criteria.
-
Tokenization: the verified credit becomes an immutable digital carbon token with embedded provenance, so ownership and vintage are transparent on-chain.
-
On-chain retirement and custody: the token can be transferred, fractionally held, or retired once, with a complete audit trail that prevents double counting and double selling.
Custom ESG Solutions For Enterprises
We offer tailored enterprise carbon offset solutions to meet the specific needs of large corporations, aligning with Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions compliance frameworks.

-
Custom Tokenization Pathways: We help enterprises integrate carbon credit tokens into their existing ESG strategies, ensuring they can easily manage, track, and trade verified carbon credits.
-
Partnerships for Net-Zero: Our platform works with industries committed to net-zero goals, offering a sustainable pathway to reduce and offset carbon emissions.
Tokens settle and retire on-chain with a full audit trail, so buyers and auditors can confirm a credit was retired once and never resold.
Data-Driven Verification
Tokere combines source data, third-party auditor inputs, and anomaly detection to validate each credit before tokenization. Every result is traceable, so buyers see exactly why a credit passed or failed.

-
Carbon Verification: Our AI technology ensures that each carbon sequestration project is accurately monitored, verified, and recorded. This mitigates the common flaws in existing carbon markets, such as over-crediting and inefficient verification processes.
-
Real-Time Insights: Our platform provides real-time data insights, giving decision-makers immediate visibility into the carbon impact of their investments, enhancing transparency and trust in the system.
